Hi! I’m Erika!

I’m a media buff who loves to get carried away by imagination. I love to laugh, cry, and feel terror while being swept away by an awesome on-screen story.

I am an experienced storyteller with a passion for consuming and analyzing content, especially horror films and shows, dystopian series, and twisted comedies. As a freelance writer, I craft content to entertain, inform, and challenge fans.

As a media professional of nearly 20 years, I worked hand in hand with film and television studio executives in creative and corporate settings. In my role as a Senior Writer/Producer, I spearheaded on-air promo campaigns with a special focus in cobranded content. I have written and produced a range of short-form media content to promote networks, products, and brands.

Through my experience, I developed a deep understanding of the television and film industries, and I gained an appreciation for the craft. My expert-level knowledge combined with my enormous appetite for entertainment gives me a unique perspective as a writer.

When I’m not watching TV or writing, you may find me running, traveling, or running while traveling. I was born and raised in Ohio and graduated with a BBA from Howard University in Washington, DC. I currently reside in Atlanta, GA with my husband, son, and dog.
